Governance Policy

Editorial Board

The Editorial Board of the Premium Handbook of Science and Technology consists of researchers from diverse national and international institutions, serving in an advisory and strategic role to improve editorial policies, promote the journal, and suggest innovations. Members have no formal bond with the publishing entity and do not participate directly in the editorial process but may be called for deliberations on ethical or strategic matters.

The board contributes by recommending reviewers, proposing improvements, and maintaining the journal's academic credibility. Their input ensures ethics, scientific rigor, and the consistency of publications.

Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee is composed of distinguished experts in the journal’s subject areas, from both Brazil and abroad. Its main goal is to ensure scientific quality, methodological rigor, and editorial ethics. The committee acts collectively, may propose regulations, evaluation criteria, and supports the consistency of publications and special editions.

Committee members can be consulted by the Editor-in-Chief for strategic decisions, topic definition, and institutional support. The committee does not interfere with editorial decisions on manuscripts, maintaining impartiality in the process.

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for managing the journal, overseeing the submission, review, and publication process. Duties include preliminary manuscript evaluation, reviewer assignment, communication with authors, and publication of approved articles, ensuring transparency and adherence to institutional policies.

The Editor-in-Chief coordinates with the Scientific Committee and Editorial Board to uphold integrity, ethics, and credibility, and supervises the journal’s operational team.
